Look at Bob after only three days of being uncovered and getting some sun! He sprouted a fourth appendage!!
Again, sorry about the crappy picture quality. I forgot to bring my camera to work again.

OK so I thought Bob was dead. It had been a very long time and I knew he should have at least sprouted…so I figured I had nothing left to lose and decided to do a Bob-topsy. I went digging and guess what I found!!! Three little Bob-lets just itching to break ground. I think I just had him buried too deep! Can you believe it?!?!?!
Clicky the picture!!
OK so I bought this cute little Christmas Tree kit at Target and it’s just too cute. I figured if I gave him a name I would be more likely to remember to keep him watered. This picture is him at Day 1.
And I wrote him a poem!
Bob the Christmas Tree
I bought a little Christmas Seed
And put it in a pot.
Gave it lots of love and water,
It must have hit the spot.
I named him Bob the Christmas Tree,
And put him on my table.
And then I wrote this little poem.
Did you think I wasn’t able?
He’ll grow up big and tall someday,
I’ll put him in the dirt.
If I remember to water him,
And some plant food wouldn’t hurt.
To hold my lights and ornaments,
Is his ultimate destiny.
He’ll probably be peed on by the dogs,
Poor little Christmas Tree.
I do not know how fast he’ll grow,
Or when he’ll be plenty strong.
But we’d love to have a real tree next year,
So I hope it isn’t long.
I’ll cut him down but he won’t mind,
He wants to do his duty.
Let’s just hope he remembers that,
When I take an axe to his booty!
